I am a freelance photographer in Cleveland, Ohio. My work primarily includes editorial photography-- environmental and studio portraits, photo stories, architecture, photo illustration and fashion work-- for several regional consumer and trade publications, including Cleveland Magazine and Ohio Magazine. Other work includes advertising photography and annual reports for national and regional companies, photo documentation and event photography for non-profits, including arts organizations and community outreach groups, and production and direction of a TV commercial. Aside from commercial and editorial photography, I am available for special commissions, such a weddings, where my work resembles photojournalism with a knack for the decisive moment. My strong experience in studio and environmental portraiture and fashion photography rounds out the services I can offer for commission work. Fine art prints and books are available. Contact me and we can discuss your project.
I have exhibited my personal work in galleries, including a series of self-portrait pinhole images, conceptual and abstract images, portraits using a 5x7 inch view camera and multimedia installations. I have created several experimental films in both Super-8 and 16mm. Some films were presented as film loops, as part of a larger art installation. Beside utilizing traditional filmmaking methods, I also work in high-defintion video.
